The latest edition to the line of Jet Woodturning Lathes is the model JWL-1220.  This new 3/4 HP lathe supports stock up to 12" in diameter and 20" in length.  A built-in work light illuminates your work piece while turning and the spindle has a lock and indexing capability for fluting and veining applications.  Integrated carry handles and a cord wrap are added for portability. 

• Heavy-duty cast-iron lathe bed adds stability while limiting vibration during operation
• Indexing mechanism which allows for fast, efficient, fluting and veining operations
• Headstock swivels 360ÃÃÃð with positive stops at 45ÃÃÃð and 90ÃÃÃð and may be positioned anywhere along the bed ways for maximum flexibility and user comfort
• Live center has a removable pin for boring through stock
• Cam-lock mechanisms allow adjustments of headstock, tailstock and tool rest base without having to use tools
• Hollow tailstock allows you to perform long hole boring for lamps and other vessels
• Convenient worklight allows better lighting right on the workpiece.
