The Kapex is the most advanced

The Festool Kapex sliding compound miter saw combines a large cutting capacity with a compact, lightweight design. Weighing in at just 47 lbs and with an innovative rail-forward system, the Kapex is easy to transport and optimized for use even in the tightest spots.
Features dual line lasers, micro-adjustable bevel control and 91% dust extraction when used with a CT dust extractor.
This saw has the cutting capacity of a 12" unit and is capable of cutting molding almost 4 3/4" tall in the special cutting position and hardwoods greater than 3" thick, smoothly and precisely.
The Festool Kapex Miter Saw comes with a MiterFast angle transfer device to eliminate complex angle calculations by copying the angle directly from the wall to the saw. Accurate cuts are made easy with dual line, fully adjustable lasers that clearly define the cut by showing the material that will be removed by the blade. Easy to read, whether feeding stock from the left or the right.
Includes 60 tooth high quality carbide blade, MiterFast angle transfer device, hold down clamp and wrench.
